As part of the fight against dear life, the Government of New Caledonia wished to provide consumers with an information tool on consumer prices, hence the name of price observatory .

This measure is also part of the actions selected for economic and social agreements signed on June 12, 2012 and is a 5th commitment to the end of conflict protocol "Dear life".

This mobile application, like the website, is intended to provide consumer with more transparency and readability compared to one of the major concerns of Caledonian households: consumer prices.

The provision of this information aims to allow the consumer "to buy better" by comparing prices by sales establishment, with ultimately an improvement in their purchasing power.
