Dinosaurs are an ancient animal group of dinosaur clads. Dinosaurs first appeared in the Trias period, around 230 million years ago, and was a dominant vertebrate for 135 million years, which began in the jura period (around 201 million years ago) until the end of the limestone period (60 million years ago), and then was destroyed due to the extinction of the limestone before the mesozoic era.

The study of dinosaur fossils showed that bird species evolved from theropoda dinosaurs during the jura period, and as a result, thousands of living bird species have now been classified as dinosaur sub-groups by paleontologists. Some birds that survived the extinction 66 million years ago and their offspring continue the survival of dinosaurs until now.
